At Banfield, I had the unique opportunity to create “red dot illustrations” to commemorate employee milestones such as weddings, milestone birthdays, or departures from the company. These illustrations varied in style: realistic portraits were crafted for those leaving the company, capturing both the likeness and essence of the individual, while milestone celebrations were marked with more stylized, cartoon-like versions.

My approach to these illustrations featured confident lines and vibrant expressions that reflected each person’s personality, making each piece not only a visual celebration but also a personal tribute. Additionally, these illustrations incorporated the company’s signature red dot—a nod to Banfield’s logo and brand color—integrating a corporate identity with personalized artistic expression. These red dot illustrations were originally created by an ex-Banfield employee but I took up the torch and continued to refine and evolve the red dot illustrations into something that still felt like classic Banfield but also had my stylistic touch. It was exciting figuring out how to move forward into the future with these illustrations while keeping in touch with the people who were doing the red dot illustrations before me.
